LIV Golf Touring AV Network Infrastructure
Converged Cisco network architecture powering global fan engagement experiences.
Project Overview
LIV Golf required a reliable and flexible network infrastructure to support audio, video, intercom, and data systems powering fan engagement experiences across its global tournament venues.
TAB M Solutions partnered with Van Wagner to design a converged Cisco network architecture deployed as touring fly-pack systems, enabling rapid event setup and providing a dependable backbone for live operations throughout the LIV Golf tournament series.
The Challenge
LIV Golf tournaments require a highly reliable technical infrastructure capable of supporting fan engagement systems across large outdoor venues worldwide.
The network backbone needed to simultaneously carry audio, video, data, and intercom traffic while remaining flexible enough for rapid deployment across a demanding global tournament schedule.
Key challenges included:
- Designing a network architecture capable of supporting multiple media types across a shared infrastructure
- Ensuring the system could be rapidly deployed and configured at each tournament location
- Supporting the logistical demands of back-to-back global events requiring multiple identical systems
- Providing engineers with clear visibility into network performance during live operations.
LIV Golf required a network infrastructure that could deliver reliability, scalability, and operational simplicity for events taking place around the world.
The Solution
TAB M Solutions partnered with Van Wagner engineers to design a converged Cisco network architecture optimized for touring live event deployments.
The final solution included:
- Two identical touring fly-pack network kits allowing continuous global event coverage
- Over 50 Cisco switches per system forming the backbone of the infrastructure
- Converged network architecture supporting audio, video, intercom, and data traffic on a shared platform
- Network segmentation and traffic isolation ensuring stable performance for critical systems
- Custom monitoring and alerting platform enabling engineers to track network health and performance in real time.
This architecture simplified deployment while maintaining the reliability and performance required for live event operations across the LIV Golf tournament series.
The Process

Results & Impact
- Reliable network backbone supporting audio, video, intercom, and data systems across LIV Golf venues
- Simplified touring deployment enabled by a converged network architecture
- Two identical fly-pack systems (in Riyadh & Adelaide) allowing continuous global event coverage
- Improved operational visibility through custom monitoring and alerting tools
- Stable infrastructure enabling engineering teams to focus on production and fan engagement experiences
The converged Cisco network architecture now powers the technical infrastructure behind LIV Golf’s global fan engagement systems, delivering the reliability and flexibility required for live tournament operations around the world.
